Bengaluru: A heart-wrenching case has come to light from Bengaluru, the capital of Karnataka. According to reports, two people were murdered in Bengaluru’s Yelahanka area following a dispute over messaging and video calling a woman. Giving information about this on Thursday, the police said that two people have been arrested on charges of murder. Police officers said that 21-year-old Vikram Singh, of Nepali origin, who worked as a security guard, and 33-year-old Chhoto Turi, a resident of Bihar, were found dead in the campus of the chemical factory. Vikram Singh used to work in this factory.

‘The victims were eating food at the time of the incident’

According to officials, the incident took place on Sunday night when Vikram Singh and Turi were having dinner at the factory campus. Singh and Turi knew the accused, and they have been identified as Samar and Sangam. Samar and Sangam are also residents of Nepal. It is alleged that both of them entered the factory campus and a fight broke out over a woman, who was the girlfriend of one of the accused. The matter went so far that the accused allegedly attacked the victims with knives. A senior police officer said that the accused had allegedly attacked the two with gas cylinders, cookers and tile pieces.

‘Turi had nothing to do with the case’

The death of both came to light on Monday morning when someone saw the dead bodies and informed the police. Deputy Commissioner of Police (North-East) Sajith VJ said, ‘We have arrested two people in connection with the double murder case. Singh used to send messages and make video calls to the girlfriend of one of the accused. Angered by this, Samar and Sangam attacked him and killed both of them. Turi, who worked as a driver in a textile company, had nothing to do with the case. The officer said Turi had tried to stop the attack on Vikram, but was reportedly killed because the attackers feared he would inform the police. (Language)
