President Draupadi Murmu on Tuesday addressed a joint sitting of both Houses of Parliament in the historic Central Hall of the Constitution House, marking the beginning of the year-long celebrations to commemorate 75 years of the adoption of the Constitution of India. The ‘Constitution Day’ event saw the presence of Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla and other prominent leaders, demonstrating the significance of the occasion in India’s democratic journey.

She said that I urge all citizens to adopt constitutional ideals in their behavior and perform their fundamental duties and work towards achieving the national goal of a developed India by 2047. He said that a new era has been started with the Nari Shakti Vandan Act. He said that today, apart from being a leading economy, our country is also playing the role of Vishwabandhu.
