Samajwadi Party’s election rally was held on Friday in Malegaon town of Nashik district, in which Akhilesh Yadav also participated. Even before the rally, stormy rains started in Malegaon. Akhilesh Yadav came on stage with his colleagues and addressed the rally while getting drenched in rain. People who came to listen to the speech at the rally also kept getting drenched in the rain and when the rain became very heavy, people placed chairs over their heads and listened to the speech of Akhilesh Yadav and Iqra Hasan while getting drenched. Akhilesh launched a scathing attack on the Shinde government of the state and appealed to the people to vote for the SP candidate.

SP has announced four candidates

Amidst the talks in Mahavikas Aghadi alliance, Samajwadi Party has announced the names of its candidates for four seats. In which Abu Azmi has been fielded from Shivaji Nagar, while Raees Sheikh has been given ticket from Bhiwandi East and Sayane Hind from Malegaon.

Addressing the rally, Akhilesh Yadav said, we have to be careful in Maharashtra, everyone knows how the present government has been formed. “This is not an encounter, this is a murder and the entire public is watching it. We have to be very careful in Maharashtra. You have seen that this government was not formed through ballot paper, no one knows how it was formed.”

Abu Azmi gave a controversial statement

SP leader Abu Azmi gave a controversial statement in Malegaon. Abu Azmi said, the day SP will have eight MLAs, no one who has drank his mother’s milk will be able to commit atrocities against Muslims. Politics may intensify on this statement of Abu Azmi. Akhilesh Yadav has already fielded four of his candidates before the decision on seat sharing among Mahavikas Aghadi.
