PM Modi will visit Brazil, Guyana and Nigeria during this period. PM Modi will go to Brazil to participate in the G-20 summit. The Foreign Ministry had also given information regarding this matter. At the same time, PM Modi can also meet many global leaders during the G-20 summit in Brazil.

Nigeria tour on 16-17 November

PM Modi will visit Nigeria on November 16-17 at the invitation of Nigerian President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. According to the statement issued by the Ministry of External Affairs, this will be the first visit of the Prime Minister of India to Nigeria in 17 years. “During the visit, the Prime Minister will review the strategic partnership between India and Nigeria and discuss opportunities to enhance bilateral relations,” the statement said.

Will participate in G-20 summit in Brazil

A statement issued by the Ministry of External Affairs said that PM Modi will visit Rio de Janeiro on November 18-19 to participate in the G-20 summit organized by Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva. The statement said India is part of the G-20 “troika” along with Brazil and South Africa and is actively contributing to the discussions at the G-20 summit.

Will present India’s stand on various issues

The Ministry of External Affairs said, “During the summit, the Prime Minister will present India’s position on various issues of global importance and the ‘G-20 New Delhi Leaders Declaration’ and ‘Voice of the Global South Summit’ hosted by India in the last two years. Will discuss the results.

Visit to Guyana from 19-21 November

Lastly, PM Modi will visit Guyana. PM Modi will be on a state visit to Guyana from November 19-21 at the invitation of Guyana President Mohammed Irfan Ali. A statement issued by the Ministry of External Affairs said, “This visit to Guyana will be the first visit by the Prime Minister of India since 1968.” (with agency inputs)
