PM Narendra Modi leaves for America

Prime Minister Narendra Modi left for the United States on Saturday (September 21). Here PM Modi will attend the Quad Summit organized by Joe Biden in his hometown Wilmington and address the future summit at the United Nations General Assembly in New York. PM Modi has gone on a three-day visit to America. Regarding this, PM Narendra Modi said, “Today I am leaving on a three-day visit to the United States to attend the Quad Summit organized by President Joe Biden in his hometown Wilmington and address the future summit at the United Nations General Assembly in New York.”

He said, “I look forward to joining my colleagues President Joe Biden, Prime Minister Albanese and Prime Minister Kishida for the Quad Summit. This forum has emerged as a premier grouping of like-minded countries working for peace, progress and prosperity in the Indo-Pacific region. My meeting with President Biden will allow us to review and identify new avenues to further deepen the India-US Comprehensive Global Strategic Partnership for the benefit of our people and the global good.”

PM Modi said- I will share the thoughts of one-sixth of humanity

PM Narendra Modi further said that I am eagerly looking forward to connecting with the Indian diaspora and important American business leaders, who are key stakeholders and give vibrancy to the unique partnership between the world’s largest and oldest democracies. The Future Summit is an opportunity for the global community to chart a path forward for the betterment of humanity. I will share the views of one-sixth of humanity as they have the highest stake in the world in a peaceful and secure future.

Quad summit was earlier going to be held in India

Let us tell you that this year the Quad summit was originally scheduled to be held in India. But in view of the schedule of the four leaders, its venue was shifted to the US. Mira Rapp-Hooper, Senior Director for East Asia and Oceania, White House National Security Council, said in a press conference, “For these reasons, Prime Minister Modi agreed to swap hosting years with us and we hope that all four Quad leaders will meet in India next year.”
