On Friday, a day after taking oath as Lok Sabha member, Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra reached the House and joined the protest in solidarity with the opposition members.
Priyanka Gandhi, Lok Sabha member from Kerala’s Wayanad, entered the House when several opposition members, including Congress and Samajwadi Party, were raising slogans over Sambhal violence and other issues.
Priyanka Gandhi stood near her seat in solidarity with him. Amidst the protests, he also met and greeted MPs from opposition parties. As she moved closer to the front row of the opposition camp to meet other members, DMK MP Kanimozhi was seen gesturing at her to sit with him.
After talking to Kanimozhi for some time, Priyanka greeted the other members. Leader of Opposition in the House Rahul Gandhi was also seen interacting with members of Trinamool Congress and other parties.
