Idukki: A surprising case has come to light from Idukki district of Kerala, knowing which you will not be able to stop laughing. Students went on college tour
Actually, the whole matter is of Adimali in Idukki district. Here a group of school students from Thrissur had gone on a college tour. Meanwhile, a group of students entered the local excise office to collect match boxes. The students did not know whose office it was, they thought there was a workshop here. After the students asked for matchsticks, the Excise Department officials caught them red handed. Banned substances like ganja and hashish oil and other items were seized from the students.
Reached excise office by mistake
Giving information about the incident, officials said that a case was also registered against two minor students for possessing banned substances. Officials said that after having dinner in the hotel, the group of students went out to smoke beedis containing marijuana. The group of students went out to search for matches to light beedis and reached the excise office. Seeing the back side of the excise office, the students mistook it for a workshop and started asking for matchsticks.

“When they suddenly saw the officers, they realized the danger and started running away but were all caught,” the officer said. When we investigated, banned substances were recovered.” He said that a case has been registered against the two students from whom the banned substances were seized, under sections of the NDPS Act. Apart from this, advice was given to all the students. “The rest of the students were sent back along with their teachers, but the parents of the two students from whom banned material was found were called and sent along with them,” he said.
