Samajwadi Party leader and actress Swara Bhaskar’s husband Fahad Ahmed has joined NCP-SCP. The party has decided to field Fahadh against Sana Malik of NCP (Ajit Pawar) from Anushakti Nagar seat. Jayant Patil gave this information in a press conference on Sunday.
Jayant Patil said, ‘Fahad Ahmed is a well-educated young Muslim youth and has worked as an activist across the country. People want us to give a chance to such leaders. Earlier he was in Samajwadi Party, but we had talks with the SP and he joined our party. We gave him a ticket from our party from Anushakti Nagar constituency.

After joining NCP-SCP, Fahad Ahmed said, ‘The ideology of NCP-SCP is no different from the ideology of Samajwadi Party. I would like to thank Sharad Pawar Saheb that he asked Akhilesh Yadav and said that we want to declare Fahad’s name with the symbol of NCP-SCP.
He further said, ‘The roots of Samajwadi Party and NCP-SCP are linked to ‘socialism’. People in Maharashtra are waiting for elections to get rid of the present government. Samajwadi Party and NCP-SCP are like a family. There is a very strong relationship between Mulayam Singh Yadav and Sharad Pawar and Supriya Sule and Akhilesh Yadav.
