The maximum temperature in Delhi on Thursday was 34 degrees Celsius. According to the Meteorological Department, the sky will be clear in Delhi on Friday and the maximum temperature may remain between 33 and minimum 18-19 degrees.

Alert regarding severe winter

According to the information, after snowfall in the hilly states, the temperature of Delhi drops rapidly. The effect of cold may start appearing in Delhi from the first week of November. However, after November 15, the cold will increase. There may be severe cold from the third week of November onwards. It is estimated that this year the cold may be stronger than last year.

Heavy rain alert in Odisha and West Bengal

At the same time, due to cyclonic storm Dana, there is heavy rain in Odisha and West Bengal. The effect of the cyclone is visible in Jharkhand. According to the Meteorological Department, there may be heavy rain in Dhenkanal, Khordha and Puri districts of Odisha on October 25. Apart from this, there is a possibility of rain in Mayurbhanj, Bhadrak, Kendrapara, Jagatsingpur, Kendujhar, Jajpur, Cuttack.

Heavy rain warning has been issued in East and West Medinipur, Jhargram, Howrah, Hooghly, Kolkata and Bankura districts of West Bengal today. It has been raining with strong winds at these places since yesterday. Crops have also suffered huge losses due to rain.

There will be light rain here

According to the Meteorological Department, light to moderate rainfall may occur over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal, South Interior Karnataka. Rainfall will continue in Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, Rayalaseema, Kerala and Mahe and Lakshadweep for the next two days. There will be heavy rain in Kerala and Mahe today. On the other hand, many places in the North-East received light to moderate rainfall with isolated thunderstorms. There is a possibility of lightning along with rain in Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram. There will be relief from rain here during the next 2 days.
