Gwalior: A major incident took place in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh on Friday evening. Here the convoy of UP government minister Manohar Lal Mannu Kori was attacked. The minister also suffered injuries during this attack and his staff and PSO were beaten up. The attackers also looted the pistol of the minister’s PSO.
What is the whole matter?
More than a dozen people attacked the convoy of Manohar Lal Mannu Kori, Minister of State in the Yogi Adityanath government of UP. During this, the vehicles of the convoy were vandalized and their staff was beaten up. This attack happened when the minister was accompanied by UP Police personnel.
Manohar Lal Mannu Kori, Minister of State for Labor and Employment of Uttar Pradesh, was going from Agra to Lalitpur. Meanwhile, a truck had an accident on the highway near Jaurasi village of Bilua police station area of Gwalior, due to which there was a jam on the highway. When the minister got stuck in this jam, his convoy decided to proceed from the wrong side.
As soon as he moved ahead from the other side, a bike rider came in front of his vehicle. When Minister of State’s PSO Sarvesh asked him to move out of the way and let him pass, a dispute broke out between the two.
During this, the accused youth misbehaved with the minister’s PSO and raised his hand, after which a big dispute broke out between the two parties. After this, accused Bunty Yadav snatched the official pistol of the minister’s PSO and called two dozen people from his village.
More than a dozen people attacked
After this, more than a dozen people not only attacked the convoy of Minister Mannu Kori but also pelted stones at the vehicle. In this attack, along with the security personnel present in the convoy, Minister Mannu Kori also suffered minor injuries. After the incident, the minister reached Bilua police station in Gwalior and his driver lodged an FIR against about 15 attacking miscreants.
As soon as information about this incident was received, all the police officers including DIG, SP reached the spot and arrested 12 accused who carried out this incident. Along with this, the PSO’s pistol has also been recovered. (Input: Bhupendra Bhadauria)
