IND vs AUS, 4th Test Match in Melbourne: When Team India started the Border-Gavaskar Trophy by registering a resounding win in the Perth Test, no one would have imagined that after 3 Test matches, both the teams would be tied at 1-1. According to the report of Accuweather, there is a possibility of rain on the third day of the MCG Test. The third day’s play will start at 10:30 am local time i.e. 5 am Indian time, in which there is a possibility of rain in the second half. According to Accuweather, there is only a 2% chance of rain from 10 am to 12 noon local time, which will increase to 49% at 2 pm. Chances of rain at 3 pm are 57% followed by 52% and 49% chances of rain at 4 pm and 5 pm respectively. Even if the second half of the third day is interrupted by rain, the chances of a draw are slim but the Indian team may get some time to plan to avoid defeat and take the match closer to a draw.
