Actually, Australia’s ace batsman Steve Smith has got injured while practicing in the nets. Smith suffered a finger injury during a practice session. Smith’s right hand was injured by Marnus Labuschagne’s throwdown and the physio was immediately called. The physio assessed the injury and then Smith left the practice midway. Cricket Australia has not yet given any statement regarding Smith’s injury.

Earlier in the day, there was news of Marnus Labuschagne getting injured. In a video going viral on social media, Labuschagne was seen sitting on the ground after getting injured. However, after some time he again became busy in practice. Australia is already struggling with the problem of injured players.
