Can retain 5-5 players

According to the report of EPSNcricinfo, before the IPL 2025 auction, all 10 teams will probably be allowed to retain five players each. Apart from this, an option to use a right-to-match card will also be given. But it has not been confirmed yet how many Indian players the franchises will be able to retain and what will be the number of foreign players among the retained players? Till now there was a rule of retaining 4 players in IPL, in which there is a possibility of a big change. According to EPSNcricinfo, it is believed that it will be around Rs 115-120 crore.

IPL 2025 auction may happen in November

The Governing Council of IPL has not yet decided on which date and where the mega auction for IPL 2025 will be held. The only thing that has come to light in the report so far is that it can happen in a city outside India at the end of November. The Governing Council meeting of IPL is to be held on Saturday (28 September) and all important decisions are to be taken in this meeting.

CSK and MI have won 5-5 titles

In the history of IPL, the teams of Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians have won five trophies each. Apart from this, Kolkata Knight Riders have won the title thrice, Rajasthan Royals, Deccan Chargers, Gujarat Titans, Sunrisers Hyderabad have won the title once each.
