Pakistan Cricket Board is considering making Mohammad Rizwan the new captain in white ball cricket. According to a PTI report, PCB chairman and Pakistan’s head coach in white-ball cricket Gary Kirsten held a meeting with the selection committee members in Karachi on Friday and considered Rizwan’s name. The ODI series against Australia is starting from 06 November.
A PCB source has said that the third Test against England will end on October 28 and the team has to leave for Australia the next day, so the selectors will announce the limited overs team by Sunday. Rizwan is a senior player, apart from this he has performed amazingly as a player. Due to his experience in leading teams in domestic cricket and PSL, he is at the forefront of the race to become the captain of the limited overs team.
