Saim Ayub Century: Pakistani team defeated Zimbabwe by 10 wickets in the second ODI match. In this match, every move of the Pakistani team was absolutely correct. The bowlers and batsmen performed amazingly for the team. Zimbabwe gave Pakistan a target of 146 runs to win, which Pakistan achieved thanks to the stormy century of Sam Ayub. Against Zimbabwe, Sam Ayub scored 113 runs in 62 balls, which included 17 fours and three sixes. It was because of him that the Pakistani team was successful in winning the match and also achieved a 1-1 draw in the series. Pakistan had to lose the first ODI match by 80 runs. Sam Ayub has become the first batsman in ODI cricket to score a century when the team score was less than 150 runs. Before him, no batsman had been able to score a century in the team score of 150 runs in ODI. Batting first, Zimbabwe scored 145 runs. While chasing the target, Pakistan scored 148 runs and won the match.

Sam Ayub made his ODI debut for Pakistan only in the year 2024. After this, he has scored a total of 436 runs in 7 ODI matches so far. He has also played 6 Test and 23 T20 International matches for the Pakistani team.
