He has become the Indian to score the most runs in the first 10 Test matches of a career. At the age of 22, Yashasvi has broken Sunil Gavaskar’s 51-year-old record. Earlier, Gavaskar held the record for scoring the most runs in the first 10 Test matches of a career for India. He scored 978 runs in the first 10 Test matches in the year 1973. Whereas Jaiswal has so far scored 1094 runs in the first 10 Test matches of his career and has overtaken Gavaskar.

Jaiswal has scored two double centuries in Test cricket

Yashasvi Jaiswal made his debut for the Indian team in the year 2023. Since then, he has scored 1094 runs in 10 Test matches, including three centuries. Jaiswal had performed brilliantly in the series against England and scored 712 runs including double centuries. Then he single-handedly led Team India to victory. He has scored a total of 723 runs in 23 T20 International matches for Team India, with one century and five half-centuries to his name.
