The Indian cricket team set a string of records on the fourth day of the second Test against Bangladesh in Kanpur. Due to rain and wet outfield, play could not be played on the second and third day, the task of which was completed by the Indian team on the fourth day. Bangladesh scored 233 runs in the first innings thanks to Mominul Haq’s century. In response to this, Team India started the innings in a spectacular manner. Team India declared its innings at the score of 285/9 runs in just 34.4 overs, making Test cricket into T20 cricket. In this way, the Indian team made the record of scoring the fastest 50, 100 and 200 runs in the test.

On one hand, Team India created a series of records in Kanpur, while on the other hand, in Chennai, the Indian Under-19 team defeated the Australian bowlers and scored 103 runs in just 14 overs without losing any wicket till the end of the day’s play. During this, 17 year old Vihaan Malhotra scored 27 runs while only 13 year old Vaibhav Suryavanshi created a new history by scoring a half-century.

New record made in U19 cricket

Let us tell you, Vaibhav Suryavanshi had created a new history by debuting in Ranji Trophy at the age of 12. He became the youngest cricketer to debut in Ranji. He broke the big record of Sachin Tendulkar. Vaibhav had done this big feat for Bihar against Mumbai in the last Ranji season. Earlier, Sachin had the record of debuting in Ranji Trophy at the youngest age.

In the first unofficial test against Australia, Vaibhav Suryavanshi started the innings and batted brilliantly and soon completed his half-century. He is the youngest cricketer to score a half-century in U19 cricket at the age of 13 years and 187 days. Vaibhav Suryavanshi has become the youngest player to score an international half-century at any level. He broke the record of Nazmul Hasan Shanto. Till the end of the first day’s play, Vaibhav remained unbeaten after scoring 81 runs in 47 balls with the help of 13 fours and 2 sixes. If Vaibhav is successful in completing his century, he will become the youngest cricketer to score a century in the history of U19 cricket.
