'Face has become paralysed', Alia Bhatt fuming with anger, slammed for Botox claims

Alia Bhatt.

This time, ‘Jigra’ actress Alia Bhatt is in the news more for Botox than for her film. Comments are being made continuously on social media about her smile. Now it seems that the actress has also noticed this and after seeing it, she has become very angry. The actress has written a long post on social media and reprimanded the netizens who are making fun and criticizing her. Actress Alia Bhatt shared a long note on Friday, October 25, criticizing the cosmetologist who claimed in a video that Alia had undergone a cosmetic surgery which backfired on her. The 31-year-old actress has highlighted the allegations about her ‘crooked smile’, ‘strange way of speaking’ and ‘misuse of botox’ and termed them as baseless.

Alia called the claims baseless

Alia wrote in the note on her Instagram story, ‘There should be no judgment towards anyone who chooses cosmetic correction or surgery, your body is your choice. But wow, this is beyond ridiculous! As for some of the videos and various clickbait articles claiming I use botox incorrectly – what you think is my ‘crooked smile’ and ‘weird way of speaking’. This is your overly critical nuanced opinion of a human face. And now you’re confidently giving a ‘scientific’ explanation, claiming I’m paralyzed on one side? Are you kidding? These are serious claims which are being presented carelessly without any evidence and without any corroboration.

Alia told why people are doing this

The actress further wrote, ‘What’s worse is that you are influencing young, sensitive minds who may actually believe this nonsense. Why are you saying this? For clickbait? To attract attention? Because none of this makes sense. Let’s take a minute to address the absurd lens through which women are judged and objectified on the Internet — our faces, bodies, personal lives, even our bumps are up for criticism. We should celebrate individuality, not tear it down under the microscope. These types of judgments perpetuate unrealistic standards, making people feel as if they are never complete. It’s damaging and it’s exhausting and the saddest part? A large part of this kind of judgment comes from other women.

‘Live and let live’

Concluding this, Alia finally said, ‘What happened to live and let live? Everyone has the right to their choice? Instead, we have become so used to tearing each other apart that it has become almost normal. Meanwhile another day of even more entertainment with a script created by the internet. Let us tell you, many cosmetic surgeons are claiming on social media that Alia’s cosmetic therapy was not right. Currently, the actress made it clear in her recent post that taking any cosmetic treatment on her body is her choice.
