Famous folk singer Sharda Sinha, honored with Padma Shri and Padma Bhushan, has been put on ventilator on November 4 due to her deteriorating health. He was put on ventilator at AIIMS, Delhi on Monday. He has been admitted to AIIMS Hospital in Delhi for two weeks. The folk singer was earlier admitted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Delhi on October 27 due to bone marrow cancer. Sharda Sinha is suffering from Multiple Myeloma since 2017. Sharda Sinha is admitted in the Oncology Medical Department of AIIMS.

Singer Sharda Sinha’s son Anshuman has given a health update of his mother. Anshuman told that his condition is very bad. Doctors are trying. He has also asked to pray for the singer. Sharda Sinha’s son said, ‘Mother is on ventilator… I have just signed the consent. You guys please pray. Sixth Mother please. At present Sharda Sinha is under the supervision of the doctor’s team. Sharda Sinha’s health remains worrying. Today Chirag Paswan also visited Sharda Sinha at AIIMS to inquire about her condition. Recently, Ashwini Choubey, Ramnath Thakur, Dharamsheela Gupta had also met Sharda Sinha.

Who is Sharda Sinha?

Sharda Sinha, popularly known as Bihar Kokila, is a popular folk singer and classical singer. He is from Bihar. She is known for singing Maithili and Bhojpuri songs. Some of his popular works include ‘Vivah Geet’ and ‘Chhath Geet’. He has also been awarded the Padma Shri and Padma Vibhushan in 2018 for his contribution to music.
