Beirut: The Israeli Army is shocked by the death of 8 of its soldiers, including one of its commanders, while launching a ground operation against Hezbollah in Lebanon. In the last 24 hours, Israel has killed many commanders of Hezbollah and Hamas in air strikes. In the latest attack, the IDF, based on accurate intelligence, killed Mohammed Rashid Sakafi, commander of Hezbollah’s communications unit, in Beirut on October 3.
The IDF said Sakafi was a senior Hezbollah terrorist who had been in charge of the communications unit since 2000. Sakafi had made significant efforts to develop communications capabilities between all Hezbollah units. In such a situation, his killing is a big success for the Israeli army.
