How is the situation in Kurram?
Deputy Commissioner Javedullah Mehsud said in a statement on Sunday that the Jirga (council of tribal leaders) will talk about opening the roads as well as signing the agreement. Due to the violence in Kurram, communication has come to a standstill, while mobile and internet services are suspended and educational institutions are also closed. The closure of the main highway has disrupted local transport and trade with Afghanistan has also come to a complete halt. Due to this, common people are facing huge problems.
