Actually, there was a dispute going on for a long time between two parties of Khamar Sahi area of ​​Dhenkanal and Mridanga Sahi area regarding the loan of Rs 800. According to the information, this case was also to be settled in Dhenkanal Town Police Station.

Miscreants entered the house and caused havoc

Even before the reconciliation, the dispute escalated so much that some miscreants of Mridang Sahi entered the house of Ganeshwar Behera of Khamar Sahi and created havoc. Ganeshwar’s motorcycle was set on fire and his family was even threatened with murder.

Local people were stunned

About 20 miscreants of Mridang Sahi created such a ruckus that the local people present nearby were stunned. Looking at it, it seemed as if someone might have committed a big crime and the mob had come to kill him. The miscreants not only misbehaved with the women of the house but also caused extensive damage to the house. Even the rice pot on the stove was broken.

On this whole matter, Dhenkanal Town Police Station Officer Prabhat Sahu said, ‘First, Ganeshwar Behera of Khamar Sahi had a scuffle with a person from Mridang Sahi due to which the people of Mridang Sahi lodged a complaint against him. On December 12, we had imposed sections 126(2), 118(1), 109, 3(5) of BNS against Ganeshwar Behera under case number 848.

Motorcycle set on fire after fight

Along with this, Prabhat Sahu said, ‘After filing the complaint, some people from the complainant’s side took the law into their own hands and entered the house of Ganeshwar Behera, beat him up and set his motorcycle on fire. Now Ganeshwar Behera has filed a complaint against him on 13th December.

Team formed to arrest the accused

The police officer said, ‘We have imposed sections 126(2), 115(2), 333, 324(4), 74, 326(f), 3(5) of BNS against the miscreants under case number 850. This entire matter is being investigated. Both the parties have filed a case against each other. The police have started identifying and arresting those who created the ruckus.
