Air pollution increased in Delhi after Diwali, AQI reached near 400...

After Diwali, the level of pollution in the national capital Delhi has reached very dangerous levels. The air quality index (AQI) in Delhi has reached around 400. People are facing a lot of problems due to this.

According to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), a thick layer of air has settled in many areas of Delhi on Friday, the next day of Diwali. Due to this, the air quality of the city has reached ‘very poor’ category. The air quality index (AQI) was recorded above 350 in most areas of the capital, raising health concerns for residents.

According to the data, at around 7 am, AQI was recorded at 395 in Anand Vihar, 352 in Aya Nagar, 390 in Jahangirpuri and 376 in Dwarka. The air quality level in all these areas remained ‘very poor’, posing a significant health risk.

In an interview given to news agency ANI, cyclist Stephen said while passing through India Gate, “Terrible things are happening due to pollution. This time the pollution has come very suddenly. There was nothing till a few days ago and now my brother is ill.” “I used to come here for cycling, but recently it has been badly affected. And today the pollution is very high.”
