Bhubaneswar: A strange case was seen in Bhubaneswar, the capital of Odisha. Bees attacked the Congress workers protesting here. An atmosphere of chaos was created after the bee attack. Not only the protesters, police and journalists were also seen trying to escape. According to the information received, Congress workers had come to surround the residence of IAS Bishnupad Sethi. During the bee attack, everyone from police officers to protesters and journalists were seen sitting on the ground and trying to protect themselves. During this, Congress workers were also seen defending themselves by wearing posters.
Protesting against IAS Sethi
In fact, Congress youth wing workers took out a march to surround the residence of senior IAS officer Bishnupad Sethi for his alleged involvement in a corruption case. During this, he was holding the party flag and banner in his hand. At present CBI is also investigating this matter. Let us tell you that on December 10, CBI had issued summons to Sethi, Principal Secretary of Scheduled Tribe and Scheduled Caste Development, Minority and Backward Class Welfare Department, in the bribery case of Rs 10 lakh. IAS Sethi is also the Principal Secretary of the Department of Social Security and Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities. CBI has also arrested three people including Chanchal Mukherjee, group general manager of Bhubaneswar-based ‘Bridge and Roof Construction Company Limited’ in this case.
Congress workers were seen avoiding bees
When the Youth Congress workers reached near the house of IAS Bishnupad Sethi, they were suddenly attacked by a swarm of bees. After this, many people covered their faces and lay down on the ground to protect themselves from the bees. After some time, when the bees went away, the Youth Congress workers started protesting again.
