Five people, including three children, died due to lightning in Gujarat’s Amreli district on Saturday evening. Police gave this information. An official of Damnagar police station said that the incident took place in Ambardi village at around 6 pm on Saturday evening.

He said that there was heavy rain in this area during the day and a storm accompanied by thunder and lightning occurred. The officer said that the deceased have been identified as Bhartiben Santhalia (35), Shilpa Santhalia (18), Rupali Vanodiya (8), Riddhi (5) and Radhe (5).
