If we are united then we are safe, PM Modi gave message to the people of Jharkhand to remain united, made this allegation on Congress-JMM

In view of the Jharkhand Assembly elections, Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived here on Sunday to address a rally. During this, he gave a message to the people of Jharkhand to remain united and raised the slogan ‘If we are one then we are safe’. PM Modi fiercely targeted Jharkhand Mukti Morcha and Congress. He alleged that Congress wants to break the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Classes (OBC) and divide them into smaller castes.

Modi claimed that Congress took electoral advantage of this fragmentation of society after the country’s independence and continued forming governments at the Centre. He said, ‘Congress has always been a staunch opponent of the unity of SC, ST and OBC. After independence, as long as the SC, ST and OBC communities remained scattered, Congress continued to form governments at the center through the principle of ‘divide and rule’. But as soon as these communities united, Congress could not form its government at the Center with full majority.

Modi requested the people of the state to understand this ‘mathematics’. He said that when the OBC community got reservation in 1990, the numerical strength of different castes of this society joined together. He said that since then Congress has not been able to win even 250 seats in the Lok Sabha. He said, ‘Therefore Congress wants to break this collective strength of OBCs and divide the community into hundreds of different castes.’

Targeting Jharkhand Mukti Morcha and Congress, the Prime Minister said that BJP-NDA have only one mantra – ‘We have created Jharkhand, we will improve Jharkhand’. Such people will never develop Jharkhand, who are against the creation of Jharkhand state. He further said, ‘BJP wanted that the poor should get permanent houses, good roads should be built in cities and villages, electricity and water, treatment facilities, education facilities, water for irrigation, medicines in old age. But in the last 5 years of JMM government, these facilities of your rights were looted by the people of JMM and Congress.
