Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Sunday released the Bharatiya Janata Party’s manifesto for the Maharashtra Assembly elections. During this, he expressed confidence that Mahayuti will return to power with full majority. Shah said that the decision on the post of Chief Minister will be taken only after the alliance comes to power. Let us tell you, elections are going to be held in Maharashtra on 20th November, the results of which will be declared on 23rd November.
Talking to journalists after releasing the manifesto, Shah said, ‘At present Eknath Shinde is the Chief Minister. After the elections, the three alliance partners will take a decision on the post of Chief Minister.

The senior BJP leader said that Shiv Sena and NCP were divided into two factions because Uddhav Thackeray preferred his son instead of Eknath Shinde and Sharad Pawar preferred his daughter instead of Ajit Pawar. He said, ‘These parties give priority to their family members and the party gets divided. They hold BJP responsible without any reason. The leader said that BJP is against family based politics. Shah also rejected Congress’s allegations that BJP wants to weaken reservation.
The Home Minister said, ‘Modi government itself gave reservation to OBCs. Rather we strengthened the reservation. He also said that the truth behind Congress leader Rahul Gandhi waving a copy of the Constitution has been exposed as it has blank pages. The BJP leader said, ‘He (Gandhi) has now become a laughing stock.’
Shah said the opposition Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) leadership has been targeting the Mahayuti government’s Ladki Bahin scheme for women but has given the same assurance of providing more financial assistance. “This shows their contradictions,” he said. Instead of reviewing our performance, Rahul Gandhi should see what is happening in the states ruled by his party.

Shah also said that Congress’s caste politics aims to divide the country. Home Minister rejected MVA’s allegations of Maharashtra lagging behind in investment. He said, ‘During the MVA rule, Maharashtra stood fourth in terms of foreign direct investment (FDI), whereas in the last two years the state received the highest FDI.’
