There is confusion regarding the CM face in both the alliances. A big statement from Eknath Shinde’s son Shrikant Shinde has come out regarding Mahayuti’s CM face. He said that all the leaders of Mahayuti will sit together and take decisions.
Several exit polls indicated a strong performance of the BJP-led alliance in Maharashtra. However two pointed ahead to the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) alliance in Maharashtra. Some pollsters also predicted a significant victory for the BJP-led Mahayuti in Maharashtra, securing 160 seats, comfortably crossing the majority threshold of 145. The Congress-led Bharat Bloc is projected to get around 120 seats.
However, there is confusion regarding the CM face in both the alliances. A big statement from Eknath Shinde’s son Shrikant Shinde has come out regarding Mahayuti’s CM face. He said that all the leaders of Mahayuti will sit together and take decisions. There was never any competition among the leaders here to become CM. We want to form a government to do more development work in the next five years. With this he attacked the opposition. He said that in the last 2.5 years, Maha Vikas Aghadi only discussed who would be the CM; This was the only thing they discussed every day. His message never reached the public.
On Uddhav Thackeray’s ‘note jihad’ jibe at BJP, Shrikant Shinde said that the way they (the opposition) spread a fake narrative in the Lok Sabha elections. This was an attempt to establish a false narrative before the public during the (Maharashtra) elections. He said that our campaign was about development-oriented and welfare schemes. During the Lok Sabha elections, an attempt was made (by the opposition) to mislead people and intimidate Muslim and Buddhist communities. In the assembly elections, people voted only on the agenda of development.
