The fast unto death of junior doctors of West Bengal for their demands after the incident at Kolkata’s RG Kar Hospital continued for the 10th day on Monday. IMA Action Committee member Dr Abhik Ghosh said that 6 doctors’ organizations have held a meeting with the Chief Secretary. From day one, these senior doctors have stood by the junior doctors in this fight. Junior doctors have been on hunger strike for 10 days, three of them are now in ICU, yet the government is preferring celebrations rather than addressing these serious problems.
