Rishabh Pant completed his 150 dismissals as a wicketkeeper in Test cricket.

Rishabh Pant Achieves Rare Milestone: Indian team’s star wicketkeeper batsman Rishabh Pant achieved a major achievement of his career on the second day of the third match of the series between India and Australia being played at the Gabba Stadium in Brisbane. As soon as Rishabh Pant caught Usman Khawaja off the ball of Jasprit Bumrah, it was his 150th dismissal as a wicketkeeper in his Test career. When he returned to the field this year fully fit after the car accident, there was a concern in everyone’s mind about his fitness, but Pant tried to prove his fitness completely in limited overs and then in Test cricket. With this, everyone’s worries were removed.

Pant became the third Indian wicketkeeper to complete 150 dismissals.

Rishabh Pant is the third player to complete 150 dismissals as an Indian wicketkeeper in Test cricket. Ahead of him in this list are former Team India captain MS Dhoni and Syed Kirmani. Pant has taken 135 catches in 41 Test matches so far and made 15 stumpings. Dhoni, who is at number one in this list, has made a total of 294 dismissals as a wicketkeeper in his Test career, which includes 256 catches and 38 stumpings. After this, Syed Kirmani, who is at second position, has 198 dismissals in his name in which he has taken 160 catches and has managed to make 38 stumpings. Now Pant has to make 49 more dismissals as a wicketkeeper in Test cricket to leave Kirmani behind.

Gaba ground is very special for Pant

Brisbane’s Gabba Stadium is very special for Rishabh Pant because the last time Team India defeated the Australian team in this stadium, an excellent unbeaten half-century match-winning innings was seen from Rishabh Pant’s bat. Now once again all the Indian fans are expecting similar performance from him with the bat. Out of the two matches played so far in this series, Team India has won one while the Australian team has won one.
